File stopped downloading It shows that it is downloading from 5 different hosts and was going great until it hit 95% downloaded. Now the speed is at "0" and hasn't moved in several hours yet it still shows downloading from the 5 hosts. Any suggestions? |
Try Right clicking on the file and hit search. Might bring up some fresh hosts or even find more to dn/ld from. Is it a video file ?? |
It is a program file. I did try search and found nothing |
Well that may explain it. .exe and .rar files are notorious for being infested with virii, worms and a lot of other FUN stuff. If it were me, I would DELETE it Now unless you enjoy fixing your computer. P2P is probably NOT the place to dn/ld program files. You can try Bitzi. I have seen program files rated on Bitzi but the thing about that is everyone that gets a paticular file all use the same hacked key. Use your own judgement here and Good Luck. :D |
Just an addition. See Links below. http://www.gnutellaforums.com/open-d...uld-aware.html. Bitzi. http://www.gnutellaforums.com/open-d...owse-chat.html. I also forgot to add .zip files in the above post |
Thanks Thanks Remoc, Will take your advice and try Bitzi |
