IDNET have a good reputation (or as good as an ISP can have) and I've never had any problems, having used them for some time now, but if all else fails I'll certainly check them out as you suggested.

I did find that they have a customer user Forum. You might get some answers that are more truthful from here rather than making that dreaded phone call.

Just thought I'd update for the benefit of anyone else that may have this problem:
I read the post by momasaur and deleted my .limewire folder - launched LW and went through the brief set-up again ... BINGO !!!
