i just got and every time i try to download it wont show any results...HELP!

Go to Tools > Options > Searching > Lisence Warning and make sure the box is not ticked and select apply...

Are you fully connected to the network..
ie. Do you have all green bars or some red ??
Do you see a wall in front of the globe ??

If you answer yes to these could you supply these details please...

yes n yes 1 green bar... and a wall. to answer your questions. <1. windows xp, 2. unknown( maybe none), 3. unkown, 4. unknown, 5. dial up, 6. n/a, 7. house, 8. limewire 4.14.8 java 1.5.0_06, 9. Netzero, 10. my test worked, 11. unknown, 12. not new to limewire, 13. yes a brick wall does appear. 15. i think im using norton, but im not sure, i didnt set it up. 16. USA!.> hope that helps.

Well after doing some research it maybe your ISP as I have found many forums suggesting that Netzero can block you from certain sites and control how you use the internet...

You could try these fixes, but unfortunatley that's all I can suggest...

Try changing limwires listening port..
Go to Tools > Options > Advanced > Firewall and enter the number 64049 into the listen port box and select apply...

You could also try this...
Try uninstalling all versions of Java from the add/remove programs and then re-install the JRE 5.11 offline version....
Archive: Download Java 2 Platform Standard Edition (J2SE) 5.0 Update 11

If that does not help with your problem try deleting your preference folder/s...
