Music search only shows Real Player files
 

HI - I have Limewire on my laptop and have no trouble managing my files. I have recently loaded it on my desktop and must have forgotten something. I want to download music to add to my IPOD. I have Real Player on my system and when I search for music it only downloads Real Player files. When I open my IPOD software it only shows mp3 files. Is there some way to get the Real Player files to transfer to my IPOD library and play? Thanks - Patty

The icon you see only idicates what player you have as your computers default player...
You can change it by....

Going to your shared folder (outside of Limewire) you will find this folder by clicking on one of your files in your LW library and clicking explore...

Right click on one of your MP3 files
Select open with
Select choose program
select the player you want ie. itunes
and tick the box that says always use this program to open this file type
Select OK
