i dowloaded a whole load of songs the other day and selected them all then placed them in the 'enque' option. i just opened limewire now, and all my downloaded songs are gone! where did they go? can i get them back?

There still in your limewire library.. Everytime you close down limewire the enque will re-set itself...

Try making a third party player your default player...

To disable LW player go to Tools > Options > Player and untick the box and select apply...

Go to your shared folder (outside of Limewire) you will find this folder by clicking on one of your files in your LW library and clicking explore...

Right click on one of your MP3 files
Select open with
Select choose program
select WMP or itunes etc..
and tick the box that says always use this program to open this file type
Select OK
