Magic25 is flying high
Default Search Results

Well, I set LW to only show four star results and now that's all I get; not that one, two, and three star results are important in the long run. Sometimes with three star results I get some obscure music that I wouldn't get in four star results. For example, I'll search for ABBA and some three star results show "live" tracks which would never come up as four star results. I thought that maybe restoring defaults would restore LW to show all results, but it seems stuck even though I clicked on show all results and clicked apply. I'm hoping that I don't have to reinstall LW; and, on another note, I'm unsure concerning speed settings-I currently have 1.0 +(MBPS) so when I restore defaults I always set speed on T1. Perhaps that setting is not proper and should be set at Cable/DSL instead. Please get back to me as soon as possible.

Thank you,
Andrew Perkins

Andrew, Don't be afraid to play around with the settings. If you don't get the results that you were after then change them back or try something different. People are so quick to uninstall and reinstall. Give Limewire a chance to work. I see EVERYDAY that someone posts; " I have uninstalled and reinstalled 10 times and nothing changes. Well HELLO, if it didn't help the first 3 times then why keep doing it over and over.

Try the Cable/DSL setting for a few hours. If it's worse then change it back. If it's better than it goes to show it's worth the effort to try different things.
