Default videos won't play

I downloaded this video and it wouldnt play so i tried to delete it and it says "the following files could not be deleted they may be used in another application or are currenlty being downloaded to. SO i thought i would forget about it but now my other videos won't play. I even downloaded new ones and they wont play.

It's just your codecs...
Try installing the VLC media player, it has all the codecs pre-installed and can play just about all files...
VLC media player - Overview

Get one of these pacs also...
For XP this codec pac is very good
Download XP Codec Pack 2.0.8 - XP Codec Pack is one of the most complete codec pack
Or for Vista this pac
Vista Codec Package v4.4.7 Beta 4a (freeware)

cant seem to strike a balance between too little info and too much can you?
so your saying that 1, the lime wire player wont work,[whats the point of it then?2, the windows media players no good either for using on lime wire, 3, you need to add codecs add-on to your windows media player to make it work?, [even tho it does,nt]4 get one of several other players to watch movies, correct? why the f++ should you need to do any or all of these things? now which is the correct answer please professor?
