Security padlock sign not under QUALITY heading since new version limewire downloaded

Please can someone who definately knows how to sort the problem out, help me? I had limewire for quite a few years and was very happy with it, till 2 days ago. When I logged into limewire a heading came up saying that it needed to update and did I want to do it now or later, so I chose now. It went through the process, shut down and re opened limewire, but this time, the headings box which starts with QUALITY on the left hand side was gold and not green as it had been on my old limewire. It also said something that if there was not a picture of a padlock underneath the QUALITY heading that it was unsecure and to go to the main limewire website. I clicked on the link which told me that in my search results it had detected possible viruses and trojans and to download from limewire website. (I'd already done this in the first place). When I re downloaded limewire from the original website that the link had sent me to, it was still the same. The headings box was still gold and I had no padlock sign underneath the quality heading. Please can someone tell me how I can get my old limewire back with the green headings box and the padlock underneath as I've tried downloading many versions to no avail?

That padlock notice you see at the top of your searches is to notify you of a particular search result that contains a virus...
It's a 75.7 KB .exe & shows up as "Urgent LW update - download & install now". If people download that thing they could end up infected. To try to prevent careless people from downloading a dangerous file, the warning banner was added to LW's interface.

The padlock symbol doesn't apply to music or video etc, only to LW updates...
