Just wondering if anyone can please help me, we had to try and remove limewire from my computer, by going to add/remove programs but when we try and remove it it comes up with a box saying "error launching installer" and when i try to re-install it it doesnt work as the old limewire hasnt been removed fully from my computer. Does anyone know how i can remove the old limewire from my computer ?? so i can re-install the new version ? Thanks ![]() |

![]() The correct way to uninstall is Start > All programs > Limewire/Uninstaller Use your computer's search to look for all files & folders with limewire in the name. If you can't delete them, reboot into safe mode & then try. If they still won't delete, try one of the tools here... Incomplete Download File won't delete at all. Once you have done that you should be able to install limewire again... ![]()

![]() Hi! I upgraded to Limepro, and I uninstalled the old one. Still it said that there was an older version of lime and that I had to uninstall it. So I sent every folder regarding limewire to the recycle bin. After I read the correct way to uninstall it, I restored from the recycle bin the things I deleted, but now the uninstaller can't be found. I even tried the search but I can't find it. Does anyone now what do I have to do now??? |
