Hey

I have just recently installed vista and limewire. I can connect and bring up search results succesfully, but i cant add the items to the download queue, neither double click or clicking the download icon works.

Any help would be appreciated

Are you using Java 1.6 ? If not, install it whilst LW is closed.

Otherwise, try deleting your LW preferences folder whilst LW is closed; http://www.gnutellaforums.com/genera...der-vista.html

Oh I think I know what the problem is ... Go to Tools > Options > Downloads & make sure you have one or more slots selected to download; Cant download at all - nothing happens when I click download (click on link)

Ah that could help, seeing as i havnt got round to installing that as of yet, currently downloading will post the result in due course.

Stil no luck, i can do everything but download a file from the list. Java is installed.

Go to Tools > Options > Searching > Lisence Warning and make sure the box is not ticked and select apply...

If that does not help try going to your Connections Tab in limewire, if it's not showing up go to Veiw > Show/Hide and make sure the connection tab has a tick next to it...
Then click on the Hosts and remove them and let Limewire search for some more...
(try to take note of the hosts IP numbers if the same ones keep re-appearing add them to your host filter...)

Tools > Options > Filters and select the Host Filter and add these IP's into it and select apply...

Try installing PeerGuardian, it will help keep the fake hosts out...Remember to enable PG just before you start limewire up...

Another thing if you are using limewire 4.13 and later you can apply this hostile list...
