Why can i never download from more than 10 hosts per file at once?
 

I am running 4.12 LWpro on XP at 3mb internet speed.Even when i click on popular files (50+ hosts) the number never exceeds 10 hosts per file when i start to connect and download.Is there a way to increase the number of hosts i can connect to per file..?

T3 connection speed. It gives you a few more. But only if your internet capabilities can handle it.
But basically, if everybody could connect to 50 or 100 hosts, then most of the upload slots would be taken by a very small % of people who are seeking the same file. Then people would be complaining they can never connect to hosts because they're always busy. I hope you understand the logic. ;) I am aware of another network that has just that problem, however it's almost dead now. :)
