I've been getting the message, Limewire has detected a corruption in the file.... It seems to only be doing this to the files that are high on the list with the larger number thing.

Like this:

I have watched the download status bar and it will go from 97% to 84% to 99% to 94% then finish and then the file ends up being corrupted.


I'd say 1/2 of the files i've downloaded today have been "corrupted" in this manner.


EDIT- The "corrupted" files, when played, skip terribly.
All of them


Are the files really corrupted? Is there a way I can fix this problem?
Help please.

There are 100's and 100's of them.

You have probably fallen victim to the same problem as many others...
There are people out there who are deliberately offering corrupted files to the p2p community.

If you read other's posts here ypu will quickly learn who the regular culprits are.
HINT > They are large corporations.
