Question Best time to use Limewire?

Is there a good time to use Limewire? I can never download more than one song before I get the 'Need more sources' message. Waiting is not helping. Nothing happens no matter how long I wait. I would love to get more songs.

I have Windows XP on a Compac Presario. Only 11% of my resources are being used on a 20 GB hard drive with 258 MB RAM. No firewall.

Maybe you're seeing fake files...these will sit connecting for ages & then get stuck needing sources forever.

If you're searching for music files, try the All Types search & search for artist or album rather than song title. Go for a file with 10 sources or less...stay away from the files with huge numbers of sources.
If you're searching for video files, always chech the file with Bitzi before download. If a file has heaps of sources but no Bitzi rating, chances are it's a fake.

Check out the threads below for more info & tips, including how to use Bitzi

Smile Thanks for the information

I appreciate the information and if I can ever find out what happened to my Windows Media Player burner, I will remember it. Unfortunately when I click 'burn' it has a message to install a cd burner then proceed. So finding out how to avoid the long wait is the least of my trouble now. But, when I get it figured out, and I will, I will do as you suggest, birdy. Thank you.
