Just downloaded lime wire...need help please!!! (downloads stay queued)

I have downloaded lime wire, and everythign come up, andi can search songs and "download" them...but then i do they just stay "queued" Is there something i have done wrong? Im just so confused. (i have used limewire a long time ago and never had problems....but now i cant get it to actually download the songs...
