files won't download no matter how I try to

Hi, I've been using Limewire for a couple years now, and I haven't had any problems. Just recently I formatted my computer, and decided to reinstall the program. The installation was fine, except now, every time I try to download a file nothing happens. The search results show all the files I'm looking for so that's not the problem. When I double click a file or highlight a file and click on download, NOTHING seems to happen. It's as if I'm not actually click on anything. If anyone seems to know why?, let me know. I've never had this problem before.
