Default Ipod download problem

Hi everyone, nice to join you all, I am very new to this electronic game and need help, I have just bought my wife a cheap and cheerfull Eoromax Ipod and every time I try to download songs from Limewire via My Documents all I get is the first few bars of every song, also the guy in the shop in Tenerife said there is room for lots of songs but all I can get is 43 when I get a message saying disc full, should I dump this one and buy another? please help as I have spent 3 days trying to work this out but to no avail, Thankyou?

Kind Regards Dusty1

P.S. if anyone can help please make it simple, *email address removed*

Please remove your e-mail address. Spammers may get a hold of it, and you may get more spam in your email account.

That person was lying to you. If it can only hold 43 songs, it's either 256 MB or 512 MB. Where did you buy it from. Also, does your iPod look like this?

If so, their know to use false advertisement. They say you get 1 GB but you only get 256 MB. They fake other sizes too.

Thankyou very much for answering my call for help, yes my ipod looks similar to the one shown, I bought it in Tenerife so I can't take it back, I think I'll just throw it away and buy another proper one, have you any recommendations that you can give me? once again many thanks.

Kind regards Dusty1.

These jerks will do whatever it takes to sell these things. Also, scan your computer for malware. Some of the people that make these put viruses in the players. You can keep the player you have now if you would like to put some songs on there. If the virus scan is clean, I would keep the mp3, even if it is just a couple of songs. Then you can buy another mp3 for all of your other songs. If you go out and buy another one, make sure it's gigabytes, not gigabits. They should tell you. If you need or help, or something else, don't hesitate to ask.
