Unhappy download & upload balance

i'm using vista, adsl router & already port forward, my dwload speed 853kbit & upload speed 384kbit, i dont have problem in dwload, its about 17-24kBytes per file, but when i see in monitor tab my upload around 0-2kBytes, its rare to see upload in 10-12kBytes, is my dwload and upload is normal? or is the way i could increase my upload speed to help others peer who upload my file without decrease or effect to my dwnload.....anyone plzzz...

P/S: pardon me, if my sentences or my word is false, i'm not good in english

Try the advice in this thread (mainly the first few posts by murasame).
A few things to consider while configuring Limewire for optimal performance...

Do you see the firewall icon(brick wall in front of the blue earth)? If you're not firewalled, maybe your ISP is limiting uploads...some do.

Some ISPs throttle bandwidth for p2p applications...p2p use accounts for a lot of internet traffic. If your ISP is limiting the amount of bandwidth available then you'll see slow down/upload speeds.

Try connecting outside of peak hours. You can also try changing ports within LW. Tools > options > advnced > firewall config. change LW's listening port to something between 49152 and 65535 (like 64049 or 65000) > apply > ok.
This may not help, but it's worth a try

If you do change ports, remember to also change the port forwarded within your router setup.
