Search does NOT work at ALL Hey there. I'm having an issue with LimeWire that's pretty weird, since I've never had an issue with it before. I can connect and have about three bars of connection, but it won't find anything in its searches. It just searches and comes up with nothing, no matter what I put in. I've tried the messing with the hosts trick listed on the forums, and that didn't do it, either. I'm running Windows XP with only the firewall in my wireless router. My computer has 512 RAM and an 80gb HD with 30% free. I'm running cable internet with a netgear router and a Scientific Atlanta modem (connecting from my house). My provider is Optimum. I get 'Your test worked!' on the test page. I'm sharing the internet connection with one other computer, which connects to the wireless router. I've never had an issue with Limewire in the four years I've had it, and I've had a pro version. I upgraded to the newest free version when I had issues. |

Thanks for the attempt, but none of that helped me. It still won't show any search results when I do as suggested in the thread you posted. |
I just tried the whole thing with deleting the .limewire thingy...that hasn't helped, either. |
