Default Need to reinstall my O/S can i save my library?

I have been collecting tunes on Limewire for close to two years, and have a library that i really like.

I spoke with Dell T/S last night, and i will have to uninstall and reinstall my O/S as soon as I am done backing up.

Is my Library of saved music going to be lost? Any way i can save it?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

BTW the title should be "my" O/S, not me O/S LOL

Your LW downloads are saved to your HDD, so you can back those up. You'll need to find your saved folder, within LW tools > options > saving will show you the location. If you go to LW's library, highlight a file & click Explore...your saved folder will open

make sure that you back up the files in that saved folder!

I would go one step further, to insure that your files are really safe before you reinstall your O/S, I would suggest that you burn/record your files onto a series of CDs/DvDs, that way you will be 99.9% certain your files are safe.
