Need help, limewire program wont even open

Hello,
Ive had limewire for years now, and all of the sudden after installing an external usp hard drive the program will not open. I still have my c drive set as my main drive (which the program is on). Ive uninstalled and reinstalled lime wire about ten times now and still the same thing. Im running windows xp, nothing has changed with my fire walls or security settings. Any suggestions? Need help!
