Protected Downloads Hi Folks, I'm a musician who uses Limewire to download material to learn and perform with the band, so via playlists and PRS the appropriate parties get their royalties etc. My question is................When I download some tracks they are "protected" and won't play! Do I just keep downloading in the hope that one will be "unprotected", or is there a way of filtering out protected files?? yours in anticipation........... |
Try " previewing " the file first . If you hear sound , chances are you got what you wanted . Also , it saves time:laugh_2:. |
Thanks for that Siberia, So........can I preview the files without having to download them first?? Also......what is the point of having protected files available if they can't be used??? Sorry if I sound a bit wet, but I'm quite new to all of this! |
You have to start to download the song first , after a bit of it is done , click " preview " . About the protected songs , it most likely wasnt the artist who put the song there . Probably someone who thought they were doing others a favor by putting it there , when in turn , it disappoints us . |
Thanks again Siberia, Happy downloading!:xeri_ok1ani: |
