Strange searching results + where's the 'browse host' button? Whenever I perform a search, it comes up with completely different or no results each time when searching for the same thing (within a minutes). When I find someone with the desired files, I'd like to see more of these especially if there's a large probability of that person having all the files that I want. The problem is that I can't find the 'browse host' button that is told of in the help section. Please help me, I am a newbie here. Thanks |

I reply to myself - after searching the forums I already know there's no 'browse button' actually. But the searching device remains completely unreliable. For audio sharing there are much better programs. I only need to get a couple of rare TV shows then I'm out. |

Results fluctuate as people sign off and on in course of a few minutes causing your available hosts to change. Finding rare content is a hard thing to do on Gnutella. Automatic re-searching (a future version of LimeWire) and wider horizons (ultrapeers now) are ways to find more rare content. |
