no license for download, wont let me download

whenever i clikc on somehting to down load a message comes up saying "Limewire is unable to find a license for this file. Download anyway? Please note: limewire cannot monitor or control the content of the gnutella network. Please respect your local copyright laws." i am afraid to download anyway because they could get my IP adress and i could get in trouble or something..........HELP
