Disk Problem
 

Hello. I have this problem lately where limewire keeps stopping downloads because of "disk problems"... i always thaught it was because of hard drive issues, not enough space... and whenever i would free up some sapce it would be fine. but now, i get it so often its gettin to be a pain:mad: so i freed up about 25GB of space and i have 47GB free now! but still get the "Disk Problem" message. Some downloads work fine though... whats this about???

This "Disk Problem" seem to have most people baffled, including myself.

In the past, when I have had this problem, I found that it was associated with not enough disk space or not enough working disk space, i.e. when downloading a file for a very short period that file exist in two places at once, in your incomplete and saved folders. So if there is not enough space for that to happen then you have problems.

You say that you have freed up 47GB worth of space on your HD, did you then defrag your HD? I'm guessing that LW may still think you have little or no space on your HD left so a defrag will not hurt, it may even free up more space and get LW to recognise there is usable space available.
