File Downloads and Dissapears! Ok, so I spent several hours downloading Adobe Photoshop 7. All goes well, and the progress bar says that the file downloaded successfully. All of my downloads usually go to 'Shared Music' because all of what I download is usually music or videos. Well, this particular download is a program. In the options, it still says that the file should have gone to 'Shared Music'. However, it's not there! I looked everywhere on my computer and I can't find it. It's a rather large file, so it was zipped. Do zipped files go somewhere else? Is there some sort of procedure I need to follow to find it and get it working? Please help! |

Umm...nevermind. I found it! The reason it didn't show up was because it screwed up and made it 'Incomplete'. The file's there, but it's empty. I have to download it again...but now I know what went wrong. Thank you for your time if you came in here at all. |

No clue... I'm not sure. I found my file in a strange place. I eventually was able to get the program working...but it took several hours and I don't remember the process. Just keep messing around with it. Are you trying to download a program specifically? Make sure that you're downloading something with an activation code or a serial number. Otherwise, you could be downloading a program that you'll never get to work for you, anyway. |
