![]() Hello to all. I hope some one can help me. I never had this problem before with the older versions of LimeWire. I have just got a new PC and had to re-install LimeWire. Now most of the time that I download a video (movie) file when the the file is almost finished the verifying contents the program freezes. It even froze when I registered for this forum. I use the End Program and re-open LimeWire to finish the verifying or whatever else I was doing and the other downloads continue. ![]() I am using Windows XP and it is a high speed cable connection with a company called VDN.ca Eventhough I have Explorer 7 I use Firefox as my browser. And I have plenty of RAM - 2G Last edited by burntmoon; December 7th, 2007 at 10:37 AM. |

![]() I have the same exact problem. It'll start the "verifying file contents" and completely freeze. Minimizing Limewire then giving it focus again makes the whole window gray. This is incredibly irritating so if anyone has any ideas, they would be greatly appreciated. I also have IE 7 but use Firefox as my browser. This is the only Java program that has any problems on my computer. Also, my computer is tuned for hardcore gaming, so the only other related posts on this forum (concerning the gray window) mentioned graphics incompatibility or upgrading. All my drivers are up to date, I have all the latest upgrades on related software, and I can't fathom what else it could be. Thanks in advance. |
