hello guys, i am getting rather slow download speeds in limewire pro!

i am getting a 5.5mps broadband connection, but when i try to download a movie, i am lucky to get past 110kbps speeds in Limewire

i am using a belkin/modem router (F5D7632UK4A) but i have the firewall disabled on it, i definiatly don't have a firewall blocking me, because i get a full turbo charged connection & no brick wall either!

I was getting faster download speeds with my previous ISP & that was on a upto 2mg package, since i have changed over to a new ISP (fast.co.uk) with a faster internet connection, my speeds have gone down the pan!

Do you have any suggestions why my speeds could be this slow?

Some people have adviced me to port forward my modem/router, but seeing as it is not causing me any firewall problems, i didn't feel the need to do so!
