![]() I am relatively new to using Limewire, and even newer to using torrent files, so pardon me if this question is overly basic. I recently attempted to download a large (>3gb) torrent file, and all went well untill the final minutes of the transfer. When "Progress" reached 99%, "Speed" dropped to 0 KB/s, and although "Status" has continued to show that I'm downloading from anywhere from 10 to 300 hosts, I've made no progress with the download for the last three days. I've had similar experiences with several other torrent files as well, and currently have a second file frozen at 93%. Is the problem simply that the hosts on line do not have the entire file, or am I doing something wrong? ==)------- |

![]() Still waiting for advice re: this issue, but I thought I'd add a related issue I'm having. LimeWire will only download (or search for hosts) on two torrents at a time. This means that while I'm waiting (over a week now) for torrents which are 99% and 93% to complete, I can't download any other torrent files. It's bad enough waiting 3 days for a torrent to download, without being unable to download any at all. Is there any way to increase the number of torrents which LimeWire will simultaneously download? Any suggestions (I hope)? -Cyrano- |
