Downloaded, installed, now i can't download anything?
 

Hello Guys, ive been a user of Limewire for a long long time now and i recently Reformated my PC. when i started downloading things i got 2 downloading Limewire. Everything went well, dl'ed it, installed it but then i got 2 trying 2 download Images and video for a school project and nothing seems 2 work?... i type anything in and it won't give me any search results for anything. I know i'm connected so i don't seem to get the problem. ive tried uninstalling it again re-downloading it and installing it nothings working?... i was hoping someone could shed some incite into this issue i'm having and if anyone else ahs experiences this please speak up... they might not listen 2 one voice but they might listen 2 many voices!

If LW's connected to the network, with all green/blue connection bars, try the fixes below.

1. In LW go tools > options > searching > basic & check whether the 'show license warning' box is ticked. If it does, untick it > Apply > ok...see if that makes any difference.

3. Delete LW's preferences folder when LW's properly closed. See point 3 here & also point 2 if you've used older versions of LW in the past (there could be a folder in either location).
Fixes for LimeWire
This will change all of your settings within LW's options, you'll have to go back through afterwards & reset things to the way you like them.

i just downloaded the latest version of LW and i went to download some songs and nothing happened. So i waited for about 5 days and it started to work and then all of a sudden it doesnt want to download anymore, i tried wat u suggested above to do that search thing, but it didnt work, so im wondering wat i should be doing
