cannot open/play movie!!! help Hello....newbie here..i would really appreciate it if someone would tell me why a movie that was successfully downloaded will not play. i am running windows xp with cable and when i want to play the movie i downloaded it tell me that the file can only be played with download.domplayer.com i did download it and it still does not work. what am i doing wrong plaese help!!! Thanks!!!! |

It could also be that the file is corrupt/fake. Before d/loading videos, check them with Bitzi Web Lookup. It'll help you sort out the good ones. While on the Bitzi site, search for the file there and use the magnet link to start the d/load in limewire. You may just need to d/load some codecs or use another player. Try using VLC media player, it has the codecs built in and will play most file types. It's a good player to keep around for those stubborn files that you can't get to play. For WMP try K-Litecode Codec Pack or XP Codec Pack 2.0.6.

i guess this file isnt a good one because i try to check it with Bitzi and it doesnt even have an option to check it in advanced and then i already downloaded xp codec pack so i think in giving up. im not really computer savy so im afraid i'll do something wrong and download a virus or what not. But thank you so much for trying to help! ) |
