Default Old Downloads won't load

I downloaded the latest limewire (4.16.0) and I've also had this problem with the Beta's (4.15.2 and 4.15.4), in which it will not load my old downloads when I re-open Limewire, it will just come up with the error message, saying that it can't load my old downloads. I was wondering how I could fix this, I changed the days to keep unfinished downloads to 100 days and this still doesn't work. I'm not sure whether this is a bug or whether I have to do something in the preferences, can someone please help me!!!

I set my incompletes to 9999 days.
No problem... skipping between versions; ie: going back & forward such as with the betas can have that effect. All you need to do is go to the Library window, select the incomplete folder, then select all the incomplete files & press the resume button. They will all show zero % downloaded until they actually start downloading again, upon which time their previous download % will show correctly.

Thanks for the help, I shall keep that method in mind, if it does it to me again.

Limewire doesn't give me the option to click on "resume" in the library :-(
I have updated incomplete files to 9999

When you re-installed windows, did you save the downloads.dat & .bak files with the incomplete files?

Unfortunately the new version LW seems to store its incomplete file information differently. I'm not sure which file it stores the information in.

If LW refuses to let you resume the files, it sounds like LW has no history about those files, which is unfortunate.

If they are files from an older version & you did save the download.dat & .bak files, only possible answer I can think of is to go backward in versions. (but you may need a backup copy of the download.dat & .bak files just in case, otherwise the new LW may have affected the ones presently in the incomplete folder.)
