Uploads have dial-up speed Been connected now for 2 days and can't figure out why all the uploads get the dial up speed when I view them in LimeWire (view my shared documents). Hardly anyone download files understandably... I got a fast DSL connection, current version of Lime Wire and XP. Anyone got a solution for this? Wouter |
I also have dsl, and have noticed alot of dial-up speeds(or 0kb) uploading. Some of these are Bearshare users(the 0kb ones usually). I have also seen my upload bandwidth get maxed out(both on 1 person & multiple people at once), so I have come to the conclusion that alot of ppl are just having problems with their LW, ISP's or Firewalls(or a combination). I run LW with WinXP firewall on, & dont seem to have any problems when connected with someone with no problems on their end. I have also tried turning Firewall off, and see the same thing as when its on, so I just leave it on. =p Shrug. Also, where do you look to see what speed you sent files at? Cant seem to find it on my LW(using non-pro 4.14.12). |
