Downloading from Private IP Addresses It seems that it is not possible to download from prvate IP addresses yet you are able to search them with out any problems. It is mentioned that if they are behind a firewall then there will only be 1 star - this is not true as I have filtered the search to only show 2 or more stars. I would appreciate some help on this, I understand the problem with the firewall but if you can search the files you should be able to instigate a download as well. Finally it mentions seding a push request how do you do that - or is the software supposed to do that automatically!!!!!! Cheers Binky. |
It's automatic. Push requests don't always work as they need to bounce from several hosts until they reach the private IP. If your connections change frequently or if too much time goes by the push won't work. Compare to a standard request, which is a direct connection to the host to download from. |
