LW only downloads 3 or 4 files at a time and queues the rest. Used to be better. ???

LM only downloads 3 or 4 files at a time and queues the rest (except for the 'need more sources' and the like), even though I set my preferences for more slots than that.

Used to be able to download much more than that at one time.

Have tried deleting the preferences folder (which, as promised, was the solution to my display language problems - I hoped it would help for this too) but no go.

Any ideas? (Or am I being a neanderthal again

)
