![]() I have been trying to use different P2P software for weeks i.e emule+kaza. I finally found LW and was so excited to actually down load the program and being able downloading media. However, I can not launch any of the video files I have downloaded. The audio files have no problem. I have downloading Java and the codepac for WMP I even down loaded several other players i.e Nero, BS player, Windows classic player no luck. I have down loading music for years with other programs and no problems. I have a new computer with the dreaded vista but I am not having connection problems or download problems (that I can tell). I admitt I don't really know the diference between a mov or avi file. Should I download only a certain type of file? My husband is driving me nuts, "saying everybody else is able to do this why not us?" I have spent hours and days on this, should I just give up? |

![]() I would suggest trying VLC Player. Has Codec built in and will play almost anything. If you're interested, here is the link. It is Highly Recommened here on the Forums. VLC media player - Overview Filter these Bad extensions, go to Tools > Options > Filters > Keywords. Now add the following extensions including the dot. .exe, .rar, .wma, .zip, .mov. Click Apply and OK. This will clean up a Ton of Junk while searching. If you decide you Don't want to block a certain extension then go back and Unblock it. Try this, I think you'll like it. What you are encountering are spam, and fake files. See Links below for more helpful info. Always use Bitzi to check video files. I ONLY download AVI Files See: Recognising Fake files And for tips on finding good files, see: How to find music. Hope this helps. |
