.....so it must be a small corruption
like a virus file attached to the video maybe?
Best you run a thorough virus scan over those corrupted files just in case.

Can't launch LW: Bouncing in Dock (click on link) .. lots of things to try. Including JUM's build. Sounds like you need to delete your LW prefs folder for a start. And repair permissions.

Glad to hear you can get 20 KB/s. Probably same user's upload capacity is just that.

How fast are your Uploads?

ahnne403 can find his utilities folder by going to Finder, choose Go menu.

Momocock we have no idea what your problem is. No idea since you didn't answer these forum rule requirements: System details - help us to help you (click on blue link). So what you are doing wrong is anybody's guess.

For myself I have no problems. The image below was taken just a short time ago, actually 30 mins earlier it was at around 250 KB/s. (Download speed depends on your own download capabilities & how much speed you have available, and how many hosts you have to download from, how much bandwidth they have available, etc. Using various techniques as re-search for the item helps gets more hosts as does finding more results, etc.)

(BTW this download actually stopped momentarily. It restarted by itself, then after a re-search of hosts it found plenty of them.)

I type in my search, and it brings up the headline, but it won't bring up a list of things to choose from. Grrrrr! So irriating!

how do you know whether the movie you are downloading is a real movie or just a camcorder version of the movie?

Use Bitzi to check the file before download: How to use Bitzi

If other users have rated the file, you'll get some idea of the quality & content.
