Well guy's, that's it for me. I tried the very few things that were suggested by a couple people who responded. Thanks to you. But unfortunatly I was very dissapointed by the lack of help or suggestions that I did receive. Don't know what to tell you shea. It looks like I did get "the young girl having an orgasm" deleted but I can't be sure. The problem now is I want to uninstall LW from my computer (had enough) but it won't let me.

And kenny111111, I looked at that unblocker thing and apparently I must be more computer illliterate than I thought because I didn't find anything there. Thanks for the try. Wish LW could have worked for me.

Default downloads won't play

Hi

Thanks for the tips Kenny 111111.

Have downloaded Unlocker, which unfortunately shows that the file I'm trying to play isn't locked - so that's not the problem.

And the file doesn't have 0 bytes, but as many as a song should - so I guess it's not that either.

Would appreciate any other tips from anyone.

Thanks

Normal way to uninstall LW is go to Start menu > Programs > LW > Uninstall. But LW must be turned off.

For problems deleting files, see Incomplete Download File won't delete at all (click on link)

I'm having the same problem - about half the songs I download into my Library won't play - even though they show in the Library! And I can't delete them without rebooting. Those I can play, play beautifully.

All the songs are MP3s - my anti-virus won't let me play .wma songs.
Some songs on network are deliberately corrupted and spammed onto the network. See mp3 Bit-Rates Versus File Sizes (click on link). This might explain why you can't play them. The bit rate versus file size is an issue you need to take into account sometimes. (BTW ignore the reference to T3 connections.) I still do check for that because it still applies.
