Unhappy Updating to 4.16.6

I just updated to the new version today, and now all of the files I had downloaded on the previous versions are gone. I had them all copied to Windows Media Player and iTunes, too, and none of them will play anywhere. I've searched everywhere, but I have no idea how to get them all back, if I even can. Can anyone help?

Try searching your hdd. Start > Search > All files and folders. Search for one of your missing files and if you find one then the rest should be there.

Are you using vista or xp?

I'm using XP. I've done the search, and it turned up nothing. So I'm guessing this means all of my songs are gone, and they're not coming back.

I had the same thing happen to me, but I am very persistant. haha. I found all of my songs in C:\Program Files\Limewire\root\magnet10

I don't know if that would work on your computer or not, but it's worth a try. I am also running XP, so hopefully this will help you. I'm in the process of saving all of my music onto a jump drive now so I don't have to deal with this again. Good luck!
