Move File to ITunes Recently when I download songs, all the MP3 files are NeroShowtime files. I don't know why this has changed. Also, when I launch the download, it gets saved to my default folder, but it no longer gets saved to ITunes unless I go to the folder and launch it from there. I decided to restore LimeWire to the original defaults because I thought maybe I had changed something in blocking hosts or junk files. This didn't change these two things, but now all the previously saved songs in my folder are gone. So in addition to the other two problems, I'm wondering if there's a way to get the old folder contents back. I have them saved in ITunes, so that's not really as big a deal. I'm using version 4.16.6 with Windows XP, SP2. Until today I didn't have any problems with it. Thanks. Andrea |
I did find the old folder. Apparently when I reset to original defaults, the downloads were being saved in a different place, so I changed the saved files back to my original folder. The other two problems still exist. |
http://www.gnutellaforums.com/window...downloads.html; new version changed download location. A change back might have caused some problems one way or another, just as the update did. How to transfer music to my iPod (& iTunes) {click on link}; add the songs correctly and no problems. Setting default audio program; Set default back to iTunes. |
Thank you. I hadn't disabled LimeWire's media player, and that was causing the problem. It also resolved the choice of downloads--no longer NeroShowtime files. I'm not sure what the connection is there, but I'm happy that it's resolved. Thanks again. Andrea |
