Already Downloading File(s)? - NOT I've just gotten new computers and am using Limewire 4.17.4 Beta.
I was able to complete 5 or 6 downloads without any problems, and at very high speed.
Now, 2 days later, I cannot download any items at all. The search function works fine and returns everything that I'm trying to find. But when I highlight a file and click "download" I get 2 error messages: - "LimeWire is unable to find a license for this file. Download anyway?"
So, when I click 'yes', I get: - "You are already downloading this file to c:\users\ . . . "
However, I am not downloading the file in question. Never have. This is now happening with 100% of all downloads I attempt.
I've seen a couple of other threads on this topic that never answered the question - and just turned into exchanges of personal insults. I am very interested in finding a solution to this. Is there anyone out there who knows? Limewire is useless to me with an error that prevents all downloads.
(Yes, I've restarted LimeWire, cleared my cache, tried closing and reopening my cable & wireless connections, and even rebooted.) |
