downloads sticking at a % but speed says good

hi
just upgraded to version 4.16.6 of limewire free version but wish i hadn't

files are downloading fine or so it seems,
speed good, number of hosts good, and time remaining about right.
thing is the % complete never changes or if it does it goes backwards
and time keeps saying about same time.
bitzi says the files are ok.

any ideas anyone?

im sure theres a thread for this already but i cant find it
