![]() Hey everyone, I checked the forum but haven't found any working solutions: I upgraded to limewire pro today, and since then I cannot download anything. I've tried 20 or so music files and all have the same problem: First Connecting... -> Needs more sources -> I say "search for more sources" then it goes to "Waiting 300, 299, 298 etc." and then Cannot download. A while later (10 minutes or so) it gives "Limewire found a corruption in <media file name>, download anyway?". When I say yes, it finishes my download form 0-100% in 1 second and then I can't play them ![]() The thing is, I know they're not fake files, because I downloaded them (the same files) with no problems on the basic limewire. System details: Windows XP SP2. Windows Firewall, already configured to accept Limewire. 1 gb ram. About 20gig free disc space. Cable w/ router. Linksys Wireless-G Broadband Router.Connecting from house. I use Limewire Pro 1.17.0 (that's what it says on the system tray -> about..., when I start it up it shows the splash screen of 1.16?) with Java version 1.6.0_03. Test result positive. I also run uTorrent, but I don't think that's the problem (it worked with the basic version). Not my first try, I've used the basic version for about a year or two. Yes, that's the windows firewall. I use UPnP I use no anti-virus at the moment. I live in Holland. I have already tried all the suggestions in the sticky page but it's still not working. Any ideas? *Edit: ?? All of a sudden it started working again properly right after this post, I don't know how (I changed nothing) but the problem is solved Last edited by Skeiron; March 8th, 2008 at 06:08 AM.
