down load freeze ups

does anyone know or have any issues with a file being verifed once the down load is completeing. some times when a longer file is downing say like 10 minutes, when it is thru and it goes into the verifing stage it will go to like 85 to 99% verified and then it freezeses up on me where i have go into the task manger to close down limewire because it wont do anything. any idears would greatful thanks.
