Remoc has a spectacular aura about

In LW go tools > options > searching > basic & see if the 'show license warning' box is checked. If it is, uncheck it > Apply > ok...see if that helps

Also make sure that you are fully connected. (Full Green or Blue Bars). If not connected to the network please post back.

I actually have a problem of negative downloading in that I set up my computer to run overnight and the % completeness of the file is LESS in the morning than when I left the computer at night. The file seems to be downloading at a normal sort of speed (I usually get 24-31 kbps total) so I don't understand what's going on, but obviously I want the particular film I'm trying to download and am getting frustrated that it seems to be permanently stuck on 52%. Has anyone else had this, particularly with the film ****?

I often leave my computer running overnight since have a download quota during the day and un-quota'd downloading midnight-8am, hence do all my video downloading overnight. I don't know if this is somehow the problem (Is it not saving the downloaded information properly? It's a laptop and the battery is pretty useless so I have it plugged into a timer so the computer goes off before the 8am cut-off time for unquota'd downloads, it is set to and successfully goes into standby at that point), or if it's something to do with my ISP restricting P2P downloads, a firewall problem .... or something else completely! Does anyone have any ideas?

Bryony.

Thanks, I got it fixed now. ^_^ I have anotheer quicky question, when I want to download an episode, I only get so far and then it goes to "Awaiting Sources". It doesn't even try to connect! Can I fix that or do I just wait around till it feels like downloading again??? And yes, the bars are all the way up (green).

Default Awaiting Sources

This means that nobody who is online on the Limewire network has that file (theoretically) for you to download. You can click on the file (hold the control button and click them all if there are multiple files) and then click the Resume button at the bottom of the downloads/Search page. This will change the status to "Queued", and Limewire will then search to see if any new sources of the file have come available. You may notice that each time you log into Limewire (I only run mine overnight, when I get free unlimited downloading, hence log off during the day) all the files on the list are returned to "Queued" status, and Limewire then searches through them at that point to see if the equivalent files are available to download. If it's been ages and nobody on the network has that file any more, it is worth running the search again to see if any other different files with the same content are available. Go for ones with the highest frequency, as obviously if 13 people have the same file, the download is more likely to complete than if only one person has it - you never know when they will go offline! I sometimes find that when the status is "need more sources" then searching for the same file will make it somehow re-find files it hadn't "noticed" were there before, so obviously Limewire doesn't find everything!

Busy_bryony
Who is your (Isp)
And what state do you live is usa or other. It all depends. And that file that you say is stuck at 52% downloaded. It might be a fake file or the person that you are downloading it off of is off line. Not ever one leaves there Lw on all the time.If that 52% file do's not re-start on it's own than most likely it's fake.
