limewire says i'm downloading but it's not
 

I have check the other posts and made correction from there but I will highlight a file to download that I do not have and will get the message that this file is already downloading to my saved folder. It does not show up in the folder and it does not show up in the download window. Please help.

It will not show up in Saved Files folder unless you have finished downloading it. Chances are it is still in your incomplete folder. Once files are 100% downloaded they are transfered to the saved files folder.

Also, the file you have chosen may be identical in data, but a different file name (uses the same download hash.) So try arranging your download window in various ways to try to see if it is on list already or not. eg: By name, then by size, etc.

It's not showing up anywhere.

So you can't find another file in the download window or incomplete file folder of identical file size to the one you wish to download but can't (even if it has a different name)? ie: compare it to the one in the search results.

correct..there is no matching file (size or name) anywhere in the application or on my drive incomplete or not.

Hey guys, I'm having the same problem as "dacsdd", thing is, it has nothing to do with my Cache being full or having the same file someplace else. This is the first time I've installed Lime Wire on this computer and its giving me the same " file is already downloading to my saved folder" message. I've stopped that license pop-up from popping up, and everything else and Still nothing. Help please.

Edit: The location I'm trying to download to is on a separate HDD. All my songs are stored on my slave.
