File Extension This is my very first post. Do not know if this is the right place toask this question , but will start here and someone can direct me if it is the wrong area. I was able to download a couple of songs. However when I try and use them they say they are not a valid file . They are showing as limewire.m3U I wanted to use the song in my slide show presentation but it will not accept it. Can someone please help me with this ? I am not understanding what is going on. Thanks ever so much....picturegirl:giggle: |
an m3u file is a playlist file, not a music file, so you need to find the real file on your comp. I'm guessing you have the actual song(s) but are just moving from the wrong place. |
So glad someone responded. Thank you ! Well I thought I saved it to my desktop but that is where it states the wrong extension. I am a brand new user of this program and do not know a lot about it. I have downloaded the song and it is in my playlistI believe what do I do to save it so I can find it to use? Thanks so much for helping me. :) |
I found it. Thanks so much for pointing me in the right direction. I was doing it from the playlist . Picturegirl |
File Extension Hi, I have just joined today and would like some assistance from someone that knows. I have been downloading files and music from Limewire however I need to change the file extension from .m3u to mp3 to save in my SD card because my gps machine can only read mp3 music. So far, all the files that I downloaded have a .m3u extension and would like to know how to change it, please help. ~Jay |
