problems with downloading - Only 2 green bars and I used to have 5 - Why ?

trying to download audio (songs) - only two of the five indicators at bottom of screen are green, whereas two weeks ago all five were green and music downloaded quickly. Is there a problem with my set up or are others having the same difficulties.
