100% download process BUT... hallo to everyone and first of all thank you for the support I have this kind of download problem: yesterday I was downloading a video file, but I have had to turn off the computer before it ends. today I restart the download from 0% and when it finished - the process shows 100% - I don't know why but limewire couldn't download it completely: the process is on "100%" but the status is always on "downloading" what can I do to have the complete video file downloaded? thanks! |

OK... or, not OK ! As I am sure you will notice when reading other posts here there have been some problems lately. Click on this link > http://www.gnutellaforums.com/window...tml#post314219 ignore the title name for now... Read it and think about it and hope that someone named Peerless and a few others come in here to help as well... The info you will see is what you probably will have to do... But, maybe the problem can be resolved more simply. Also, might as well do this now... Please click on > System details - Help us help you > Provide these details when you post ! which you will find in my signature in the above post. |

ok, thanks a lot! I thought it could be a easier thing because I have this problem only with two files not with all (for example I downloaded three files in two hour) do you think it could be the file? or something else? |

I meant to ask you earlier, but forgot... How are things with any other files you have downloaded ? I mean .mp3s or eBooks or images or other video files such as .avi or whatever... Has all been well except the one vid file ? If all has been OK but for the vid file, than it is a different problem... Maybe Could be a rogue file from what is delightfully known as the entertainment industry... You will find a lot of info here in the forums about companies and organisations deliberately creating and spreading 'bad' files within the filesharing community. What is the filename extension ? Is it .avi or .wmv or something else ? (Just the extension, please, no movie name.) Hang in there as there will be more coming in here to help you ! And, ummm, don't forget to do the System details - Help us help you > Provide these details when you post ! |

as I told you, I didn't have any problem with other downloads except for these two vid files (.avi extension). but I think I solved the problem: I turned off limewire and when I turned it on once again the downloads restart (not from zero) and now it seems it's ok. obviously I have to check it on the end: let's see! thank you so much for help! |
