i am trying to download a torrent, but it keeps popping up with a message saying "you are already downloading this file to "C:\users\*myname*\limewire\saved\*filename*
i haven't downloaded this...ever!!! in fact, i just downloaded limewire pro...wtf?!?!?!

Right click and choose different save location. Delete any incomplete listing you see. ie: check your Library window, click on incomplete folder, list in alphabetical order. Find the listing and delete. Then try again, but choose different location.
