Dom Player File

I am trying to download a file and it keeps giving me the message that it can only be played with Dom Player. How do I get around this as I can't use that player. Also, is there a way of finding out before I download a file that it is a Dom Player file?

And, you do NOT want to use that player.
You do NOT want to install it.
You do not want to even have an install file of it on your machine !
You most certainly do NOT want to D/L, or attempt to play, ANY file that requires ANY specific type of player.

What exactly is the filename extension ?

Could it be <name of movie> .avi.exe with the .exe hidden ?

Most of that crap amounts to no movie but a pop-up that prompts you to wreck your machine by D/Ling and installing sh¡t malware... Which is precisely the description of Dom Player.

ALWAYS use Bitzi to check files BEFORE you D/L them ! ;)

It is a tv show that is a avi file.

Can't Limewire do something about these files. They are everywhere. It's quite annoying as I just want a normal avi file.
