Dom Player File I am trying to download a file and it keeps giving me the message that it can only be played with Dom Player. How do I get around this as I can't use that player. Also, is there a way of finding out before I download a file that it is a Dom Player file? |
And, you do NOT want to use that player. You do NOT want to install it. You do not want to even have an install file of it on your machine ! You most certainly do NOT want to D/L, or attempt to play, ANY file that requires ANY specific type of player. What exactly is the filename extension ? Could it be <name of movie> .avi.exe with the .exe hidden ? Most of that crap amounts to no movie but a pop-up that prompts you to wreck your machine by D/Ling and installing sh¡t malware... Which is precisely the description of Dom Player. ALWAYS use Bitzi to check files BEFORE you D/L them ! ;) |
It is a tv show that is a avi file. Can't Limewire do something about these files. They are everywhere. It's quite annoying as I just want a normal avi file. |
